What is Pranayama?
According to traditional yoga philosophy, the root cause of most diseases is stress; both psychological and physiological. Stress alters the breathing pattern of a person, thereby affecting the energy balance of the body.
Pranayama is a series of ancient yogic practices that focuses on controlling the vital energy triggered by breathing to stimulate, activate, and balance the energy systems in the body, mind, and spirit. By learning various breathing techniques, you can harness your life force (prana) and experience deep relaxation, mental clarity, and inner calm.

Workshop Schedule:
Day 1:
Arrival and Welcome
Talk – Introduction to the eight steps of Yoga
The practice of Asana
Lunch
Talk & Practice – Pranayama and Meditation
Day 2:
Talks & Practice of Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara (withdrawal of senses) and Guided meditation
There will be ample time for reflection and asking questions. Followed by the question-answer session, there will be a closing meditation and farewell.
Retreat Fee:
The Program fee is 2000 INR.
Food & Refreshments:
Refreshments will be served. Lunch can be bought from nearby restaurants or bring your own.
Accommodation:
Please note that accommodation is not included in the program, as it is a day-long event. However, our yoga center is conveniently located in the heart of Trivandrum, surrounded by a variety of homestays and hotels to fit different preferences and budgets. You may also find suitable options on Airbnb for a comfortable stay nearby.
